PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS TO BEGIN AT
KENSINGTON AND INMAN PARK/REYNOLDSTOWN STATIONS

ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) continues its focus on Service, Experience, and Expansion or SEE. On Thursday, Feb. 8, MARTA will begin improvements to the parking lots at Kensington and Inman Park/Reynoldstown Stations as part of its commitment to the State of Good Repair Program. Upon project completion, customers will SEE improved accessibility, sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping, and lighting.

At Kensington, Phase I includes two sections of the north parking lot. Customers will need to access parking from the Mountain Drive or Kensington Road entrances. The Memorial Drive entrance will be closed. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible parking will be temporarily moved to the south lot and can be accessed from Kensington Road. Pedestrian access to the station and StationSoccer will remain open during construction.

At Inman Park/Reynoldstown, Phase I will close the south (Reynoldstown) bus loop and parking lot. All bus service (Routes 4, 6, 32, and 74) will be accessible on the north (Inman Park) side. Customers may also consider driving east to Edgewood/Candler Park Station for additional parking. Pedestrian access on both sides will remain open. Phase I is expected to finish in April, before the Inman Park Festival and Tour of Homes on April 26-28. ADA accessible parking will remain available during the project.

Be on the lookout for directional signs at the stations and SEE more about the project here.
