Deputy Chief Michael Burrows

Deputy Chief Michael R. Burrows has 40 years of law enforcement experience. He retired from the DeKalb County Police Department as a Deputy Chief after a 30-year career. He has been with the MARTA Police Department for 8 years as the Deputy Chief of Administration.

Deputy Chief Burrows has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Jamestown Community College in NY and has completed the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) Chief’s Executive training course.

He has held various positions and ranks throughout his career to include: Major Crimes, Internal Affairs, Chief of Detectives, and Chief of the Uniform Patrol Division.
