Rail On-Time Performance

Definition: Measures how closely the service ran to schedule. Departures from origin and arrivals to destination are considered on time if made no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled time.

Performance (March 2018):

In March, met the Target; the actual being 96.79%. 319 delays were related to rail car failures, 127 delays were passenger related (medical emergencies/door obstructions/police interventions), 62 delays were related to Automated Train Control (ATC) issues and 67 delays were due to track work.
