Statement from MARTA General Manager/CEO Jeffrey Parker on the passing of Hank Aaron.

  “The MARTA family mourns the passing of American icon and Georgia sports legend Henry "Hank" Aaron. Hank Aaron made history in the sports world and beyond, inspiring generations and advancing the cause of civil rights. Over the years, countless baseball fans took MARTA to the stadium to watch “Hammerin' Hank.” I have ordered flags at all MARTA facilities to fly at half-staff to honor his memory and legacy."
