MARTA UNVEILS NEW COMMUNITY INSPIRED MURAL

AT EAST LAKE STATION

This Saturday, MARTA is celebrating the installation of a new mural by artist Nico Romero at East Lake Station. The mural was inspired by Romero’s interaction with members of the communities surrounding the station; Kirkwood, East Lake, Decatur, and Oakhurst. Each image relates to a conversation, experience, or a story told to the artist by a community member.
